We wrote the book on motion control
ElectroCraft literally wrote the book on motion control, publishing the first engineering handbook DC Motors, Speed Controls and Servo Systems over 50 years ago. With subsequent editions published over the following 20 years, ElectroCraft quickly became known as the design authority on DC motor and drive systems. It is from this heritage that ElectroCraft to this day continues to innovate and provide unique motion solutions to their OEM customers worldwide.

Headquartered in the U.S., ElectroCraft is dedicated to U.S. manufacturing, and continues to invest in its state-of-the-art facilities in Gallipolis, Ohio, Princeton, Indiana, and Ann Arbor, Michigan. These locations are centers of excellence for precision engineering and the production of high-quality motion control solutions, supporting U.S. and global customers with American-made products.
Additionally, the company drives innovation through its research and development centers in Stratham, New Hampshire, and Ann Arbor, Michigan, ensuring cutting-edge advancements in motion control technology.
While prioritizing U.S. manufacturing, ElectroCraft also leverages its global supplier network and overseas engineering and production facilities to provide the right solution, cost effectively, to our global customer base.

A growing portfolio serving key markets
ElectroCraft offers a wide range of product technologies to create unique solutions for OEMs. Our core products are fractional HP electric motors, including brushless DC motors, PMDC brush motors, AC synchronous and induction motors, hybrid stepper motors and linear actuators, and a variety of geared-motor solutions, as well as drive electronics, including speed controls and servo drives with motion control capabilities.
We have many configurable, off-the-shelf products to satisfy most applications, but many of our OEM customers require some level of product customization. Our ability to provide customized solutions for small motor designs, especially for embedded applications, adds a lot of value in terms of cost effectiveness, ease of integration, overall system performance, and time to market.
